We're all busy and it's annoying to have to revisit all those sites to see if there's anything new. (Besides which, most often we just don't actually do that.)

Stay informed with RSS feeds.

Use RSS feeds to automatically inform you when something new is posted here.

Eventually, there will be various feeds, each for a specific section of the site. For starters, there's this:

Using the feeds.

If you're unfamiliar with RSS feeds, relax.

'RSS' stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'… how hard can that be?

Download a newsreader application like Nick Bradbury's FeedDemon (Windows) or Ranchero Software's NetNewsWire (Mac). Then copy and paste the URL of the news feed into the application's 'subscribe' dialogue. (That's if it doesn't appear automatically.)

Feeds here are in the xml/rss 2.0 (whatever that is!) format.
